Stainless Steel
At Select Balustrade we only use 316 grade stainless steel or higher, such as 2205. What is so fantastic about stainless steel is that it is extremely durable and long lasting in any environment. It is also very easy to keep clean.
With occasional cleaning it will retain its brilliant finish indefinitely and can outlast any other finish. Even with neglect, cleaning will bring it back - in worse cases by machine polishing. Unless an insufficient grade of stainless steel has been used and/or extreme environment combined with neglect and/or extreme abuse, stainless steel will outlast all other materials. This is why stainless steel is used extensively on boats and in other marine applications, with chemicals and at chemical plants, sinks, pool equipment and generally all bolts, brackets and other metal components.

"Custom Blade"
"Custom Blade" has horizontal bars, posts are a custom shape and generally 10mm or 12mm thick.
We have custom blade post designs to choose from. Alternatively, we can help create a post design or you can provide your own design. There are various handrails to choose from.
At our showroom we have a full scale curved balcony balustrade on display.

"Estate"
"Estate" has horizontal bars and there are various posts to choose from. There available in Tapered Blade or Straight Blade designs and are generally 10mm or 12mm thick. The posts can also be square, rectangle or round.
There are various handrails to choose from.

"Nouveau"
"Nouveau" Add a little style and elegance to your home. We have various Nouveau designs to choose from which include different feature patterns, various handrails and posts including our Tapered Top Blade or Straight Blade post designs.

"Traditional"
"Traditional" The name says it all. Top and base rail with vertical bars. There are various posts to choose from including Tapered Blade or Straight Blade designs. These are generally 10mm or 12mm thick. The posts can also be square, rectangle or round.
There are various handrails to choose from. A handrail can also be added above the panel as illustrated in one of the photographs.

"Heritage"
"Heritage" Square or rectangle top, mid and base rails with vertical square bars. There are various posts to choose from including Tapered Blade or Straight Blade designs. These are generally 10mm or 12mm thick.

"Elliptical"
"Elliptical" is very unique. Not only is it suitable for residences but it is also perfect for commercial applications. Elliptical top rail with elliptical horizontal bars or vertical elliptical bars attached to square or rectangle mid and base rails.
